Top Weight Loss Tip That Doesn’T Include Exercise

There is a new healthy weight loss diet coming out almost every week. There are also numerous weight loss tips and guidelines to help you lose weight. Now many of these healthy eating guidelines and weight loss tips are valid points and should be followed if you want to achieve permanent weight loss. You may be overlooking a major component to successful weight loss. This has nothing to do with healthy eating guidelines or exercise intervals. It has to do with recovery and your downtime. How much sleep do you get each and every night? The make or break tip to your weight loss success could be by the amount of sleep you get. Research studies are showing that those who are sleep deprived have higher levels of bodyfat compared to those who get adequate sleep each night. Studies have also linked a lack of sleep to hypertension and Type 2 diabetes. A study in the American Journal of Epidemiology followed 68,000 Americans for 16 years and found that those who got five hours or less of sleep per night were one third more likely to gain 30 plus pounds over the course of the study than those who slept seven hours or longer. Another study Stanford University reported that subjects who slept the least had higher levels of bodyfat than those who slept 8 hours or more. The commonalities that both studies have are that the participants who lacked sleep had lower levels of the hormone leptin and higher levels of the hormone ghrelin. Leptin is produced primarily by the fat cells and this hormone works to decrease hunger and increase your metabolic rate. The hormone Ghrelin is produced by the gastrointestinal tract and increases your hunger. This is an imbalance of two key hormones that affect your body type and whether you gain weight or not. The simple answer to correct this is to obviously sleep more. There are other things you can and should be doing to keep your leptin level elevated and your ghrelin level low, but the most often overlooked weight loss tip is sleep. Sleep is something we wish we could do more of and just never seem to get it because we are all very busy. If you are one who struggles with losing weight. You have tried healthy weight loss diet after diet and you still seem to struggle with your weight loss than I suggest this. You should record how much sleep you get each night for one week. Before you go to bed each night evaluate how your day was. Were you tired? Did you wake up refreshed? Did you feel that you needed more sleep? After this one week of recording your sleep look at how many hours on average you slept each night. If it wasn’t 7 hours then make it a goal to average 7 hours of sleep a night. If you did average 7 hours and you still felt tired every morning then work to increase that average to 8 hours and see how you feel. Every person is a little different when it comes to required restful sleep. You may need to experiment with this a little. If you are serious about permanently losing weight though I suggest you make increasing your sleep a priority or everything else you do to lose weight may be for nothing.

Weight Loss Q and A Episode 2 (Part 2)


Questions to be answered in ALL parts……. 1.What kind of prenatal vitamins do u take? 2.What do u think is the best way to get rid of my little stomach and love handles? i’ve been thinking seriously about giving up soda too. 3.How long did it take you to get to your size and how did you maintain? 4.Did you want to get down as small as you are now? 5.How often would you work out during the 1st 7mos of weight loss? 6.How would you go about gaining a few pounds in a healthy way? 7.Since I am only trying to loss 5-10 pounds and mainly in my midsection. Can you tell the things I should focus on? 8.Did you have a plateau moment while losing weight? If you did, how much weight did you lose prior to the plateau, how long did it take you to get off the plateau and what advice do have for someone going through it? 9.Stretch marks… We pretty much all have them no matter what size we are, but have you found anything to work on them really well? They are one reason that I don’t like to wear anything short-sleeved or sleeveless. 10.Not trying to get too personal, but you mentioned pre-natal vitamins and I was wondering how they may aid in weight loss or maintaining? 11.6 small meals…What does this really mean and do you follow this? Belly fat is not attractive or healthy on anyone, and whole grains can really go to work on that stubborn flab around your midsection. Fat Burning Food #5: Water
OK…it’s not really a food, but it’s important to drink lots of water if you’re trying to burn fat. This is the ingredient that people miss the most. Your body can’t work effectively if it’s dehydrated, so it’s extremely important to keep a bottle of water with you at all times. Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it and thank yourself when you do. And no, soda pop (regular or diet) is not a healthy alternative.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Why don’t we ever listen to what we are told when we are kids? Apples and other water-rich fruits will make your diet plan more effective. The pectin contained in apples limits how much fat your cells can absorb. How awesome is that?! Plus, it’s a naturally soluble fiber, which is always good. Forget about counting carbs and calories in packaged snacks. Just grab an apple.

As you can obviously tell, there are many food options we tend to overlook on our journey to a healthy weight loss. Most people focus on trying every new product they see advertised on tv without remembering that it’s always good to just stick with the basics. People 2, 3 and 4 decades ago did not have the technological advances we have today, and obesity was practically unheard of. Think about what they ate, and think about what you eat. For things to change, you have got to change.

What Is Hcg And How Does It Promote Weight Loss?

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, or hCG, is a natural water-based protein hormone that develops in the body of a woman shortly after conception. Often called the pregnancy hormone, hCG levels in urine and blood can be tested and are used to confirm pregnancy.
